The fee (see the registration form below) includes all the course material. Each course is bound so that it will become a handy reference in the future.
Each course is composed of lessons that have a quiz at the end to obtain feedback and to assure that the concepts are understood. Each participant that completes the quizzes for the course will receive a completion certificate.
The grading and returning of the quizzes are handled by extension educators in Nebraska who serve as coordinators for the Beef Basics courses. Many extension staff members promote and work with the Beef Basics courses.

Beef Cow Basics Plus Updated Online Course Cost and Registration Information
This course is now completely available online and is designed for beef producers, feed consultants, veterinarians and youth wanting to learn more about beef production. This course has been updated by extension faculty and individuals in the beef industry. The course will be of benefit to cattlemen that are currently in the beef business or for those that are just getting started according to Steve Pritchard, Nebraska Extension Educator. There are twelve (12) chapters or topics in the course. The fee for the new online Beef Cow Basics-Plus course is $20 to $120, depending on the status of the individual and whether CEU credits are needed/requested.
