Grazing Annual Forages
The uncertainty of pasture growth and condition in 2013 has a number of producers considering planting and grazing annual forages.
Starting the grazing at the appropriate stage or height and simple rotation grazing management will increase grazing potential.
With irrigation, different planting dates and combinations of cool- and warm-season annuals could be established to provide grazing late spring through fall.
