Nebraska Extension is looking to gather more information on cow-calf producers’ mineral supplementation practices. To better establish research and educational resource needs for beef cattle producers, Nebraska Extension has released a producer needs assessment survey targeting cow-calf producers.

Nebraska Extension is looking to do their part to ensure that producers have suitable informative mineral resources available to them. However, we must first understand what producers are doing, what they know, what they don’t know, and what questions they may have. By participating in this anonymous survey, cow/calf producers can help Nebraska Extension better meet their needs.

Survey responses will be utilized for future research, educational programming, and resource development. Additionally, Nebraska cow-calf producers can express their interest in having their operation included in future on-farm mineral supplementation research.
