Reclaim your pastures from cedar trees- attend a free Cedar Tree Management Meeting on August 12, 2026 at 5 pm CST. The meeting will address the growing problem of eastern red cedar encroachment on Nebraska rangelands, covering impacts on production and wildlife, how the trees grow and spread, strategies for management, wildfire mitigation for rural homes, and available cost assistance programs.
