In December, Carol Krutsinger made a $1 million gift to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) to develop the next generation of beef industry leaders.

The gift will support and create a permanent endowment of $700,000 to support the Nebraska Beef Industry Scholars Program, an academic minor within the Department of Animal Science at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The program will be renamed the Krutsinger Beef Industry Scholars Program in honor of Ron and Carol Krutsinger’s gift.

To learn more about this donation, please see the following news release and radio interview that highlight the gift and some of our past alumni.

On behalf of the Krutsinger Beef Industry Scholars Program as the program lead, I would like to thank Carol for this generous donation which helps support our commitment to providing opportunities to develop the next generation of beef industry leaders.
