Located in North Platte, Neb., the West Central Research, Extension and Education Center (WCREEC) provides research-based information and other educational resources to the counties in the West Central District and beyond. As part of the University of Nebraska- Lincoln and the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the center is a front door to the University for those that it serves in west central Nebraska.

Panhandle Research, Extension, & Education Center (PREEC)
Located in Scottsbluff, Neb., the Panhandle Research, Extension and Education Center (PREEC) innovates and conducts research to make life better for Nebraska ag producers, rural communities, businesses, children, and families. Our program specialists, extension educators and research scientists work with local stakeholders to identify and prioritize challenges facing western Nebraska.
