By-product Feeds
The availability of corn milling by-products are expected to increase dramatically in supply in the coming years. The two primary products from the milling industry that will be fed to cattle are corn gluten feed and distillers grains with or without the solubles and these by-products are very different from a nutrient composition perspective. We have developed the following resources to help you better understand the corn milling industry and the products produced.
This program contains information pertaining to the storage and utilization of three unique co-product feeds from the ethanol industry. Information on composition, storage, spoilage and loss, and the economics of storage is presented in five learning modules.
