In recent months distillers grain price has declined while beef cattle prices have reached historic highs. This recent significant decline in the price of distillers grains is making it an attractive option to feed as a commodity directly to cattle. In many situations distillers grains may be a good option to increase weight of calves and yearlings or for use as a winter protein supplement for cows. In this webinar, Aaron Stalker shares research on different methods for feeding distillers grains, the associated waste, and how this information can be used to make management decisions.
