How can I utilize ethanol byproducts into a heifer deveopment program in order to maximize profitability? I sell these heifers as bred heifers in the fall, so high AI conception rates and pregnancy rates are important to me. What would be the cheapest, most economical ration to feed these heifers. We have some irrigated grass - about five years old - and this year the broad leaf weeds have become a problem in it. They are the type that can easily be controlled by spraying, but this would also kill the alfalfa that we planted with the grass. Any sugestions as what else we might do to control this problem?
