Frequently Asked Questions
I cut my oat hay to bale. Due to the baler's equipment breaking down, he was unable to bale it prior to three days of rain totalling 6 inches. Has it ruined or do I still have a "shot" of it drying enought to be bailed before going bad?

I recently purchased a yearling bull. His yearling scrotal measure was 42 cm, but when I took him to be collected he had shrunk to 35 and his semen wasn't good. What would have caused the shrinking and is there any treatment you'd recommend to try to reverse the process?

I would like to use MGA to group some cows for closer calving. Is this economical or effective by itself? I do not have facilities to work large animals for the hormone shots. If it might work, what would a recommended rate be? How many days before bull turn out or other recommendations?

We banded a newborn bull and it's been since March 20, 2007 and he has not dropped his testicles yet. Is this normal? How long does it usually take? We are very concerned for his health and thought they should have fallen off by now. What should we do if it's been too long and they should have fallen?

Just curious the best way to synchronize our cows so we can calve in a 45 to 60 day window. Don't know what would be the best method as we have full time jobs and it would be hard to watch the cows.
