Q:   Are there some small publications that explain EPDs and frame size for beef cattle?

A:   Information about EPD can be found on the National Beeef Cattle Evaluation Consortium website. That can be accessed by going to beef.unl.edu, then to web resources on the left-hand side of the home page. The next page will have the NBCEC home page and when you get there, click on Education and on the next page that comes up, click on Sire Selection Manual or just copy the following urls into you browser:
