Q: We gave some cattle shots about 1 week ago, how long do we need to wait before butchering?

A: Always follow label directions that are included on all drugs that are administered to beef cattle. I don’t know what you treated the cattle with, so it is difficult for me to know what the withdrawal period, if there is any at all. You can call your veterinarian to help you with determining if there is any withdrawal period that needs to be adhered to before these cattle can be harvested.
